Once you have made a decision on the type of entertainment you want, and then make a list of your expectations. Include on that list how, in general, you would like your event to go. Then use the following list of questions as a guide to help you find the entertainment provider that will meet or exceed your expectations:
Do they have backup staff and equipment?
Are there any extra fees? Do they have a written contract? Is it worded fairly for both parties? Are they experienced? How many dances have they performed at? Do they provide lighting for the dance? If a performer is sick, or otherwise can't make it, is there a back-up person ready to take his place? If there is an equipment malfunction, will they have back-up equipment available?
