For over 20 years, DJ Flounder has followed his dream as a dj, radio personality and event producer. DJ Flounder has entertained at various events throughout his career; from formal affairs such as weddings & mitzvahs to sharing the stage with some of the largest names in entertainment as well as representing well known brands. Based out of Washington, DC, DJ Flounder has performed all over the country including: DC, Maryland, Virginia, New York, Chicago, Philadelphia, California, Cleveland, Colorado and Las Vegas. DJ Flounder is known for his vast knowledge in music, incredible mixing skills, scratching, production skills and his unique personality. This combined with more than 20 years experience as a dj and producing events set him apart from the rest. Flounder was on-air at the legendary DC101, was the stations Creative Services Director and was on the syndicated Elliot in the Morning show from 1999-2011. From 2003-2011, DJ Flounder produced and hosted a weekly mix show on DC101 (Washington, DC) called "Flounder's Mashups." His show was notable for bringing the "mash up" genre to Washington, DC. Flounder has shared the stage with famous national acts such as Third Eye Blind, Kid Cudi, Talib Kwali, Silversun Pickups, Plain White T's and Paramore to name just a few. He also has played events such as The MTV Ulalume Festival, Shamrockfest, Big Night DC, The Downtown Countdown, The International Auto Show, DC Newsbabes and provided music for The DC101 Chili Cookoff. He has played all over the country including, New York, DC, Maryland, Virginia, Philadelphia, California, Colorado, Las Vegas and Chicago. DJ Flounder has also performed for corporate clients such as MTV, The 9:30 Club, The Chrysler Group, Childrens Hospital, Merriweather Post Pavilion, The Newseum and The Washington Redskins.
