About D.J Mad Man Maddy

Mr. Emanuel Abel, better known in the entertainment field as “Mad Man Maddy”, has a long list of accomplishments in his field, going back to his youthful days. Professionalism then stepped in and apart from being the proprietor of a record store and entertainment complex catering to both audio and video customers. His popularity soon soared and quickly became the leading DJ throughout Trinidad and Tobago during his dialogues, earned him an engagement in the 70’s to perform and project Soca in Venezuela. He was featured on a XMAS single with reggae superstar Trinity in 1981 entitled “Little Rockers Boy”. Mr. Abels love for and interest in kids, was responsible for his financial commitment, in helping those in need. His “Save the Children” foundation of which he was the founding member. In March of 1986, he was chosen to play the first record launched at the United Nations, Entitled “Now is the Time”. He was also the featured DJ on the W.L.I.B’s Spring/Summer Jam show in 1993. During his tenure in the United States, numerous awards were extended to him from various organizations, including a special Achievement ward from Everybody’s Magazine. As the Mad Man says, music is the game-Maddy is his name. In conclusion a quote from Shakespeare is appropriate. “If music be the food of love, play on.
