I can’t say enough good things about the team at Stumptown DJs. Recently I broke my ankle and needed coverage for a wedding that weekend! I texted Matt (The owner of Stumptown) from the Hospital on Monday. He communicated with me until almost midnight, and he had everything setup with the wedding clients by the next day! He made the transition seamless and completely put the wedding couple at ease. In this industry, finding people who are not only reliable but genuinely willing to help out a fellow professional in a pinch is rare. Stumptown DJs handled the coordination seamlessly, stepped in to take care of the event, and had my back when I needed it most. Their communication, integrity, and readiness to support others in the community speak volumes about how they operate. Suzanne at Stumptown DJs was an absolute dream to have DJ our wedding. The entire event went so smoothly because of her professionalism, flexibility, and overall attitude. From the ceremony to the grand exit, our songs were played exactly how I envisioned them. Plus, I will never forget that there was a moment during the evening that I wanted to cut short unexpectedly; I glanced at Suzanne, discretely asked for the song to end, and she immediately, and unnoticeably, faded the song out - I was so thankful to her. We highly recommend booking Stumptown DJs! We booked DJ Suzanne for our wedding and she was great! She did a wonderful job of emceeing and made everything look and feel seamless. She followed our music choices and the dance was packed and SO much fun. In general, the team at Stumptown DJs is super organized and made the prep running up to the event really easy and clear. They were detail oriented but also flexible and we are glad we chose them for our wedding!

I cannot recommend Stumptown DJs enough, specifically Gianni, for any couple looking for a professional and seamless wedding experience. From our very first consultation back in December, Stumptown was incredibly attentive to our vision. We had specific needs for a bilingual celebration, and he navigated those music preferences perfectly, ensuring both sides of the family felt included and engaged on the dance floor. Stumptown DJ's preparation was excellent - we had a detailed timeline review the month ahead of our wedding where he walked through every transition, which really eased my mind leading up to the big day. On the day of the wedding, his execution was flawless. He kept the energy high, the transitions smooth, and followed our timeline to the letter. I’m a little late to leave my review but life has been extremely crazy. My husband and I had our wedding in August and had Gianni as our dj. I felt like the admin team did an amazing job at matching us with a dj that would fit our wedding day so well. Gianni was great, helped go over our playlist and schedule prior to the wedding to make sure we had everything the way we needed and for it to run smoothly. We were planning everything ourselves so his tips to make certain things run smoothly were extremely helpful! My favorite part was that I had requested him not to take song requests unless it came from my MOH, and no matter how much my family bugged him he stuck to that request! Which I greatly appreciated. The dance floor and vibes were amazing, my brother was dance battling anyone he could!

We found Stumptown DJs after Ty was the DJ at a friend's wedding, and we had such a good time there that we had to hire him for ourselves! We got married at the Evergreen on 10/8/23, and we loved having DJ Ty on our team for the big day. Ty was very thorough in reviewing all of our playlists and song requests, and he was knowledgeable about working in transitions between tracks for special moments, such as bridal party entrance and grand exit after the ceremony. Following the ceremony, Ty was super helpful in announcing special dances, cake cutting, and speeches. We loved the suggestions that Ty added into our playlists for dancing, and so many of our friends had a great time and commented on how much they enjoyed the music. Ty was also able to accommodate our request for a special private last dance, which we really appreciated. Again, we had a great experience with Ty and Stumptown, and we would highly recommend him for your wedding!

Katie is an outstanding DJ and you should definitely hire her. She went above and beyond with being more than just our stellar DJ. She acted as an additional wedding planner and friend during planning and the wedding. We were blown away by the level of detail she goes into for the wedding timeline. Our meetings helped us to have a clearer picture as to what our day would look like and any missing gaps that we should be thinking about. Her music taste is exceptional. She not only fit in the songs we were craving but put her spin on things and elevated the vibe. She was a crucial part of our wedding team and she will be for you too. Stumptown is a wonderful group to work with!

DJ Katie was amazing to work with for our wedding. The Stumptown DJs database and timeline website was so organized, easy to use, and made planning with Katie such a breeze in the midst of all the madness of wedding planning. Katie hopped on a call with us several times to make sure everything was perfect, and she had our timeline down to a T on the day of the event. Our venue – Nordic Northwest – had two outside areas for the ceremony and cocktail hour as well as an indoor reception space, and Katie was there early to get everything set up and sound checked ahead of time. She was so fun to work with, and did a fantastic job making announcements throughout the reception and when we had to make some last minute changes to our Grand Exit plan. We looked at so many DJ options when we were initially planning, and I cannot recommend Stumptown and DJ Katie enough for a wedding. If you want clear communication, a great online portal for planning, and professional, fun, awesome DJs, look no further.

We had such a wonderful experience working with Stumptown DJs for our Portland wedding! Matthew was so helpful throughout the planning process and DJ Steven was amazing at our wedding. Steven kept everything on schedule through the ceremony and reception and was so friendly and easy to work with. The dance floor at the end of the night was SO much fun! He did an amazing job getting people dancing while still playing all of the songs we wanted to hear. We would absolutely recommend Stumptown DJs and DJ Steven! He made our wedding so fun and memorable!

I can't say enough about our positive experience with Stumptown DJ's. My husband and I got married at Tin Roof Barn this September and DJ Steven CAME THROUGH!! Every single person that was at the wedding was out on the dance floor singing and dancing to EVERY SINGLE SONG Steven played. We even had a rouge guest look like they were going to try to give a speech and Steven was eyeing him and making sure if he needed to cut the mic he would. Steven is extremely friendly and the most easy vendor to work with. He made our vision of a crazy fun dance floor come alive. I will never forget this night with everyone singing in our prop microphones and it's all thanks to Steven. Can't say thank you enough. HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend Stumptown DJ's and HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend DJ Steven.

DJ Jai from Stumptown DJ's was an amazing DJ for my wedding. He could read the energy in the room and chose the BEST music. He was a great MC and subtly prepped my dad before his speech, which my dad so appreciated. He was understanding and flexible with helping me choose music for our wedding playlist; we had in person and virtual appointments and he let me text him too! The flow of the wedding was perfect and he seamlessly transitioned into the timeline of the wedding and the dance part of the night! He really went above and beyond, I will always highly recommend him and Stumptown DJ's for any event!
