Our wedding photos turned out absolutely beautiful thanks to Philip Thomas and his second photographer, Deji Osinulu. Looking through these photos felt like getting to relive the whole day over again, while also seeing moments we didn't even realize were happening. Philip has a great attention to detail, taking breathtaking candids as if he were a fly on the wall. He was very professional, prompt, and organized, while also being a calming and warm presence. As someone who typically feels uncomfortable getting her photo taken, he made the entire experience feel natural and easy. I could not have asked for a better photographer to capture our special day.

Philip photographed our daughter's wedding in March, 2026. My husband and I were very impressed by the professionalism of Philip and his assistant - plus their photos were fabulous. Philip was easy to work with, personable, punctual and all of the other important things. I would absolutely recommend him for a special event.

From the first Zoom call with Philip, we were instantly at ease. He’s an intellectual who knows his craft inside and out. He was so much fun to work with on the day of the wedding, at least when we saw him. He was well hidden for most of the night, which led to some incredible shots of emotional families and hardcore dancing. When parts of the venue were in the dark, he made it look as if the picture were taken outside. Our couple's photos are movie quality and timeless. We went from terrified to have our photos taken at our wedding to discussing having Philip take anniversary shots for years to come. There was a bit of a wait to receive the photos after the wedding, which is now uncommon, but it made it that much sweeter to receive them. It was about 6 weeks after the wedding that we received the gallery, and a week later, to receive all the digitals without the watermark. We spent four hours going through all the photos and having an impromptu date night. Now, the hard part is picking which ones to print, when the correct answer is all of them.

Philip was an absolute joy to work with. From our first consultation, his energy and genuine excitement made us feel so comfortable, he's incredibly easygoing, super fun, and has a real talent for putting everyone at ease, even on a big day. The photos turned out phenomenal, timeless, romantic, and full of emotion. He captured every heartfelt moment, from quiet glances to joyful group shots, in a way that feels authentic and cinematic. We’re still in awe of how beautifully he told our story through his lens. If you want a photographer who’s as fun as he is talented, and documentary style of photos, Philip is the one. 100000/10 Highly recommend!!!

What can be said about The Legend that is Philip? That HIS TALENT IS WORTH EVERY CENT I DIDNT HAVE TO SPEND ON A PHOTOGRAPHER! As a Backyard-DIY-Bride that was hyper concerned about budget, when I saw Philips portfolio , I knew that’s where I’d be convincing my soon-to-be Husband the majority of money should go, and that decision was truly the best one I made in all of my planning because I literally SCREAMED when I saw the finished product. He captured the in between moments that were so important to my vision (my dads standing next to each other in anticipation of seeing me, my kids practicing their instruments before the guests arrived, the hug shared between old folks who hadn’t seen each other in 30+ years, myself erupting in laughter at a naughty joke, etc) and he did it with the utmost professionalism. Giving Phillip my trust and free creative rein paid off. After I finished screaming, the tears came; I was able to relive that wonderful evening spent with those I love most by flipping through the stunning images. What a gift Philip has. And I’m so glad he shared it with me. Would endorse him a 100 times over. He’s a true gem!

If you have viewed Philip’s portfolio, you don’t need our review to tell you how beautiful his photography is! Our photos are absolutely stunning. They perfectly tell the story of our wedding day, and bring us right back to the moments they captured. Philip’s eye for interesting compositions still amazes us when we look at our pictures (which we do often). What may not be immediately evident by viewing a website though, is just how lovely working with Philip is. We were so impressed by his ability to find the perfect balance between being there to catch every single moment yet never feeling intrusive. He brought such a calming, friendly, kind demeanor to our wedding day and we could tell he truly cares about the comfort of his subjects. Philip is an artist, and you will no doubt be blown away by how he captures your wedding day.

We knew going into our search we wanted a candid/natural style of photos. Philip exceeded our expectations. The final images were gorgeous! I still can’t stop looking through them. Our family and friends are blown away, each image is stunning. The whole process start to finish was effortless. Philip had such a good energy from day 1 and we loved working with him. His second shooter was also phenomenal. Book him now! You won’t regret it. We’re so thankful to have these beautiful images to look back on.

I had such a great experience working with Philip Thomas Photography! I first heard about Philip from my mom, she said that she followed a super cool British photographer on Instagram. After looking at his website and portfolio I was immediately drawn to his photography style. I always feel awkward in front of a camera and don’t like posing so I definitely knew that I wanted more candid moments to be captured for or wedding. Unfortunately, Philip was already booked on our date, but one of his associates, Chris, was available. Philip sent us some samples of Chris’s work and I loved what I saw, so we booked Chris and a second photographer, Anthony, for our big day. Chris was a great lead that day. He was on time, asked the right questions, and put me at ease in front of the camera. We had a very limited amount of time to take our post ceremony portraits at the church, but Chris was very calm and collected during that time and quickly got the shots he needed. And I can confirm that he definitely got the shots! Our portrait in front of the church is stunning, and I was worried it wasn’t going to come out that great because we took that picture a little after 4:30pm with peak sun. We can’t wait to hang that photo up in our home! I would definitely recommend getting two photographers, it was a great decision and worth it! While Chris was taking my first look photos with my dad, Anthony was already at the church capturing the pre-ceremony excitement. When Chris was taking our grand ceremony exit pictures with all of our guests, Anthony was at the reception venue taking some details shots of the decorations, cake, memory table, etc. Also, when we received our final photo gallery, it was really neat seeing different perspectives of the same moment. Having two photographers present definitely eased some stress on timelines that had to be met and ensured we got comprehensive coverage of the entire day. The best way for me to describe looking at the photo gallery is like seeing a story unfold. All the love, smiles and raw emotions experienced throughout the day were captured, and you can tell that my husband and I had the best day ever. Thank you Chris and Anthony for these precious forever memories!

Philip perfectly captured our day. We loved his documentary-style approach that found all the real, candid moments of our wedding. He was so pleasant and upbeat—bringing great energy to the bridal suite while we were getting ready—and kept everyone relaxed and comfortable in front of the camera. We had Philip as our photographer for our wedding back in 2022. He is amazing! His photos are unique and really captured our special day in the best way possible. We couldn’t have asked for a better photographer.

Philip is a Texas treasure provided to us from across the pond. He came highly recommended from our wedding coordinator and the proof was not only the amazing final photos, but also in his intoxicating personality. We wanted photographs that were of excellent quality and had a journalistic feel. We wanted to capture real moments rather than forced, fake poses. Philip was the perfect choice for us, having years of experience as a photojournalist. He was able to take stunning pictures of all the necessary traditional wedding shots, but he really shined in the unique and intimate shots he captured using his journalistic eye. Philip is the kind of photographer you never forget. Ok so we talked about his skills, those are solid. Now we need to talk about the man himself. He was so wonderful to work with. He is kind, funny, and made us feel so at ease with every aspect of the process. We had many of our guests and family members tell us how great he was - charming and friendly - never interrupting but always somehow there capturing that special moment you are having. And spoiler alert, he has an accent that all the ladies will swoon when they hear. :) Ok ladies, he is exceptionally skilled at photography, he is handsome and charming, is there anything else you need? Well if there is, he has it. Book with him as soon as you can to lock in your date. He was worth every penny!

Philip is GREAT. He shot our wedding in November of 2021, and I still can't get over how great of a job he did. He captured the joy of the day perfectly. He has a knack for capturing candid moments that feel intimate, emotional, and authentic.
