About Robbin Manuel Photography
My Passion
I grew up in the south where sunlight was my best friend in creating beautiful photos in high school, before the digital age. I learned how to use natural light, clouds and water to high details most photographers today do not understand how to capture.
My Experience
When I was 18 years old, I traveled Europe with a 35mm camera that required film. I had to make and plan every photo, with lighting, timing and understanding the camera. I am proud to say, some of my photography art is still in museums across the USA today. I changed over to digital 10 years ago, but still work with film to force my skills to be sharp and detailed. And that's what my work is described as: sharp and detailed In 2015, I opened my studio for portrait work and I love it. I designed my studio for an entire year before building for my light access. Today, I have a "magic window" where I take award winning, magazine quality photos for my clients. I continue to learn new ways to photograph by attending workshops and expos across the country, but the real teachings is just getting out there and photographing.
