dj LV (I know dj LV)
Do you know dj LV? Taking over Atlantas nightlife one gig at a time, dj LV is bringing real deejaying back to Atlanta by hitting new plateaus and striving to elevate his audience along the way. With over 20 years on the turntables and an ever-growing list of high profile performances, dj LV continues to gain momentum by bringing his own unique blend of music and beats to events across the U.S. Born and raised in the Oakland, California, LV is not only a phenomenal deejay, but also an accomplished drummer and talented music producer and attributes early studies of violin, saxophone and drums as the beginning of his career in music. LV credits the drums as the instrument that made it possible to pick-up, play and create intricate, creative rhythms and beats - cementing his music career as a deejay. His ability to seamlessly blend songs and produce creative mixes gradually grew from spinning at house parties to headlining as the deejay at several prominent Bay Area clubs. Coming to the A in 1993, LV has blessed some of Atlantas premiere clubs with his unique vibe, and eventually partnered up with Urban Fusion Entertainment creator Darius Jones, which generated Urban Fusion, one of the premiere social events in Atlanta. After the success of Urban Fusion, dj LV found himself spinning at some of Atlantas hottest spots, and exclusive after parties. He is currently the resident deejay at Justins Restaurant, DJangos, Utopia, Verve Lounge and monthly Old School Saturday parties. Additionally, LV has shared the stage with numerous multi-platinum artists such as Ne-Yo, Ludacris, A Tribe Called Quest, Erykah Badu, Cee-Lo, Queen Latifah, Brand Nubians, Raheem Devaughn, Joi, Ciara, Nelly, T.I., Robin Thicke, Usher, Doug E. Fresh, John Legend and DJ Jazzy Jeff, just to name a few. From the Bay to the A with a few detours along the way, dj LV spins it all from Hip Hop and R&B to House, and Reggae with a few Old School classics and Top 40 in between to keep it interesting. LV prepares you to elevate your mind and your ears as he takes you to the next level by bringing back what Atlanta nightlife has been missing for several years. Hell have you saying, I know dj LV (no
really, I do)!
