Amanda and James were great! From the beginning the communication was so helpful! I honestly had no idea what went into wedding planning and especially timing. Amanda was so sweet and detailed with every little piece of planning! During the wedding they were so great at entertaining the guests with dance music, slow dancing, and even games! We wanted to play the shoe game and a scavenger hunt type musical chairs, and Amanda made it so fun for us and the guests! We laughed and had a blast all thanks to them! Highly recommend!

Amanda and James were amazing! Communication was great from start to finish, and she even gave us additional fun ideas for our wedding! Most importantly they were very reasonably priced. The value for the money spent with them was the best of any of our vendors. I can’t recommend them enough!

Amanda and James provided the music and entertainment for our wedding. I cannot begin to describe how wonderful they were to work with, but I will try. From the first meeting getting to know my wife and I, Amanda was incredibly nice, professional and a pleasure to work with. You could tell that she was working with us to make the day as special as possible. The online portal she set us up with honestly helped us organize the flow of the evening as much as it did the music and dances we wanted to put in place. On the day of our wedding, they arrived early for set up and reviewed the plan for the day. The introductions were perfect, music cues hit exactly where they were intended and the first dances went off without a hitch. I couldn’t have asked for more. I will end with this: I am not a dancer, in fact I am quite a bad dancer, but from the time the floor opened up until the end of the night, they had me dancing and jumping around. Raleigh Wedding DJ and Video are entertainers and partners you will want at your next event. P.S. I have photos, but I am a sweaty mess in all of them from the amount of dancing, so I will spare the internet of those pictures.

Can’t say enough good things about Amanda and her dad. Amanda did an amazing job of engaging our guests at each phase of the reception. And, with a strict schedule, she kept our party on track. Everyone had a blast! Thank you so much for making our night so special!

This father daughter duo was great. They offer coordination services, I had a coordinator but the service would be great for anyone looking to save some money because weddings are crazy expensive. If you’re hesitant because their website isn’t super up to date, I was too, but it’s fine I promise. (:

I have nothing but amazing things to say about Amanda & James! We were looking for someone affordable on a very last minute timeline and Amanda was very responsive from the start. I was able to provide her with the details as we were having a traditional Indian wedding and needed Bollywood music played. She was very accommodating and also got everyone dancing all night! Highly recommend hiring this father daughter duo. They are the sweetest and so affordable! Definitely go above and beyond their duties just as a DJ vendor.

I was the Day-Of Wedding Coordinator for my best friend’s daughter’s wedding. This allowed me to work with Amanda and James pre-wedding. They were phenomenal! Their communication throughout the planning for the big day was excellent. They asked the important questions to ensure they were prepared and to ensure the special day was perfect. On the big day, they were professional, engaged with the guests, and made sure the bride and groom’s requested songs were played. We hired Raleigh Wedding DJ and Video for a corporate Grand Opening and Ribbon Cutting event last Friday. Amanda was very professional and showed up early to set up, bringing microphones for our event speakers and our pre-planned music ready to keep the party going! She gave helpful suggestions ahead-of-time, came with all equipment necessary (even a last-minute special request of an easel), and took up minimal space at our event. We will definitely hire this company again in the future! 5-stars!!

My husband and I used Raleigh Wedding DJ and Video on February 24th this year for our ceremony and reception. They showed up early to set up and were on point the whole night. The disco lights made it fun and everyone had a blast! Amanda and James were so sweet and helpful throughout the whole process. Also, they let my husband and I do a karaoke performance which was special to us. They were reasonably priced. I would recommend using them for your next DJ service.

Amanda and her dad were fantastic and we really appreciate all of the time and the effort they spent ensuring the day went off without issue! Amanda in particular gave wonderful insight into different portions of the day to ensure the guests stayed energetic and having fun like making sure the bride & groom stayed on the dance floor. Amanda and James from Raleigh Wedding DJ were a highlight of our wedding. Rather than play our exact requests, they spun the list into a set had everyone dancing, from children, young adults, and even the most stoic dad's in the room. They even brought glowsticks to pass around near the end of the night. Afterwards, everyone told us how much fun they had, and how much they appreciated Amanda's ability to MC and let everyone know what to expect. Amanda was especially organized and used her year's of experience to help shape the flow of our reception in planning meetings. Not to mention, they were very affordable compared to bigger companies and we were glad to support a local, family business.
